The Pattern Perfect Tatarian Maple (Acer tataricum ‘Pattern Perfect’) is a small- to medium-sized, cold hardy ornamental tree. This tree’s ornamental value is not limited to just its impressive red-orange fall colors. In mid-late summer, it also exhibits light red samaras that contrast wonderfully with its thick green leaves, similar to the Hot Wings® Tatarian Maple. It has an appealing oval form that gets more rounded as it matures. 

In addition to its ornamental value, it was selected for its cold hardiness, drought tolerance, and moderately fast growth rate once established in a landscape. It is a great option for a small yard due to its showy nature in late summer and fall and satisfying form. It does well in partial or full sun and can withstand a wide variety of soil types.
