Quercus bicolor

Native to eastern North America the Swamp Oak has slow to moderate growth and tolerates wet soil, but prefers well-drained areas. The bark flakes off in scales. Leaves are 3-7 inches long with shiny dark green above and silvery white beneath. Fall color is generally yellow, but can be orange, red, or purple.
