The Golden Rain is a deciduous tree growing to about 45ft, It generally has a rounded outline with open spreading and ascending branches, and reddish copper-colored foliage in spring. Flower is yellow in clusters and blooms in early summer. Known for it's clustered yellow-brown papery heart shaped fruit containing black seeds. Likes sun. Tough and adaptable but likes well drained soil. Hardy to USDA Zone 5.
